This past Halloween I spent a decent twenty minutes scooping handful after handful of horrible soppy pumpkin innards in a failed attempt to impress my four year old niece.

But where I failed, these fine people are victorious. Taking the Joystick Junkies love of retro gaming and applying it to pumpkin carving, these represent some of the most impressive game-o-lanterns around. Seriously, take a look.

My sorry excuse for a pumpkin is currently rotting in an East London bin. Next year I’m going to attempt one of these and (with the help of mother internet) it will live on forever.
